About the Game

Welcome to Dusky Swamps! This game is a small 2D plattformer, where you play as a lost alien on it's way back home. Your goal is to find enough gems to be able to repair your spaceship. But watch out! Dangerous creatures are coming for you. Fortunately you are able to defend yourself with your magic attack! You can also jump on top of enemies, but only once before you need to touch the ground again.
Gems are precious and you should try to collect them all
Magic stones are needed to fill up your magic attacks
Cacti hurt you when jumping on top of them
Frogs can attack you with their tongue
The Endboss has more energy, can shoot canonballs and is especially bouncy.
Used Technologies
Dusky Swamps is my first game with JavaScript. I used object-oriented programming. Furthermore, the development taught me about game design and game physics.
